Band Feature: Small Room 9
They may have started in a small town, but Small Room 9 boasts a big sound and an even bigger future. Consisting of members Rod Mooney (vocals), Glenn Sasser (guitar), Joseph Kinkaid (drums), and Rusty Galt (bass), Small Room 9’s music embodies pure rock and roll.
Hailing from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, the band has already experienced major success. They have toured the U.S. and Canada and have shared the stage with artists such as Ludacris, The Wailers, and Chingy. Small Room 9 have also been featured on the video game Rock Band. After being contacted by Marlene Palumbo of IndieInk, a division of Rock Band, the band soon heard their song on the game next to artists such as Stone Temple Pilots and The Rolling Stones. They have been compared to the Foo Fighters and U2, but the band states that they don’t try to sound like anyone else.
Lead singer Rod Mooney says that he has become tired of the negative themes in a lot of music and has always tried to exert a positive influence. Mooney says that their name has now taken on a bigger meaning, and is a reminder of their small beginnings and the hard work they have put in to get where they are today. Currently, Small Room 9 are touring and promoting their self-titled album (SM9). They are also playing the Cutting Edge Festival in New Orleans and CPRFest in Biloxi, MS along with Evanescence and Foxy Shazam. Later this year they will be shooting a live concert video as well as a concept video in Orlando, FL. They are also working on their next album, which they hope to record in 2013.

Yea, anyone can get their music on Rock Band… you have to pay for it and they contact everyone whose on other music websites. Really exciting.
Actually, they did not have to pay for it. They were chosen for it. Believe it or not, they are that good. Thanks for the input though.
