Band Feature: Bastille
Bastille are a band to most certainly not overlook.
Dan Smith, singer/songwriter from London, originally started producing synth pop songs, under the moniker, from his bedroom as a solo project until new members joined and Bastille officially became a four-piece band. Producing huge choruses, electro and synth melodies and relate-able lyrics, Bastille have been compared to the likes of Florence + The Machine, Dry The River and Gabriella Aplin.

After uploading only several songs online, Bastille attracted attention, being featured on radio and TV and got signed to indie record label Young And Lost. The band began touring and playing festivals such as Glastonbury and Isle of Wight festival in 2011.
As a band, they have released four EP’s over three years, including hit ‘Laura Palmer EP’ featuring “Flaws”.
