Band Feature: Attention Thieves

Attention Thieves are an unsigned band hailing from Reading, England. Formed in 2010, Attention Thieves have a heavy rock sound infused with catchy pop elements. The 4 piece rock band, made up of Alex (vocals), Hag (guitar), Ryan ( bass), and  Sim (drums),  have a moderately large following despite their status as an unsigned band.

Over the past year, their self-released debut EP  ’Look A Little Closer,’ has gained the band a lot of media attention. Kerrang!  Magazine calling them the “… forefront of a new wave of exciting British bands,” while Rock Sound magazine dons them “Another British band to be proud of.”

More recently, the band played the BBC introducing stage at the Reading and Leeds festival. With plans to release a full length next year, and an upcoming European tour, Attention Thieves is bound to be a hit in 2013.
