Swim Deep Premiere First Taste Of Their Debut Album
It’s the second day of the year, and already we’re being treated with brand new music good enough to make you shiver. Swim Deep featured on BBC Radio 1′s Breakfast Show this morning as the days alternative boy band, and listeners were granted a first taste of what the groups upcoming debut album is going to sound like in the form of “The Sea,” which (with props to the lovely folks at The Line Of Best Fit for the rip) you can listen to below.
The track has already been getting a great reception at the bands live shows, and away from the buzz of a crowd it continues to prove itself as something pretty special. It’s got breezy melodies, bubbling refrains, laid back vocals, and enough ooh‘s and ahh‘s to have you hooked before the song even reaches midway.
Recorded in Brussels, Belgium towards the end of last year, “The Sea” will feature on Swim Deep’s first album, due for release in the not-too-distant future. We’re not even 48 hours into the new year, and these boys are already making their mark on 2013. Here’s hoping that the rest of the year will continue to sound this damn good.
